Day 1 – Rio de Janeiro

Arrive in Rio de Janeiro and our guide will be waiting for you to transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day we spend at our discretion. Maybe someone will want to quickly see and feel the lush life of the city and someone wants to be alone, then there is always a corner somewhere between palm trees, sand, and ocean waves to go to.

Planted between lush, forest-covered mountains and breathtaking beaches, the Cidade Maravilhosa (Marvelous City) has many charms, most notably the Cariocas, its exuberant residents. Discover the many beaches which is a free entertainment zone. Watch people chatting, jogging, drinking, or playing football. Copacabana and Ipanema are the best beaches in the City with the famous black and white tiled promenade.

Beautiful panoramic views can be enjoyed from the famous Cristo Redentor statue. The Sugar Loaf's cable car ride up to Sugarloaf also offers a spectacular panorama of Rio’s bays and beaches. In the evening you can dance the night away, with Samba and Forro, in a crazy Lapa.

Day 2 – Rio de Janeiro

Breakfast at the hotel. Our guide picks you up at your hotel in the morning and takes you to the bottom of Corcovado Mountain. Here you board the little train that takes you through tropical rainforests, passing tropical trees and exotic fruits. A short walk from the final station you find yourself at the foot of the impressive Christ the Redeemer (Cristo Redentor). Enjoy the spectacular views over Rio de Janeiro.

After Cristo Redentor, our guide will take you to the red beach (Praia Vermelha) from where we take a cable car up to the Urca mountain. From here an amazing view of Rio opens up before us. We take yet another cable car up the Pao de Acucar Mountain (Sugarloaf). From here we have a wonderful view of the city nestling between the mountains and the sea, and the sight of the sun going down over Copacabana beach is magical. After riding down the cable car, we will discover the historical part of Rio.

Day 3 – Rio de Janeiro to Foz de Iguazu

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Iguassu. Meet and transfer to your hotel with a guide.

The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 4 – Foz de Iguazu

After breakfast, you will visit the Brazilian side of the magnificent Iguaçu Falls following the walkways which border the canyon of the Iguassu River. It is possible to observe hundreds of small waterfalls until ending up in front of the magnificent Devil’s Throat, the strongest and mightiest of all falls. The splashes coming from the falling water make you FEEL the grandeur of the falls and cover the sky with thousands of rainbows.

The Iguacu Falls receive their name from the Caigangues Indian word meaning 'great waters'. The falls are formed by the Iguacu River and consist of 275 separate falls; they are surrounded by the virgin jungle of Iguacu National Park which is home to about 2000 species of flora and 400 bird species (including parrots and toucans). The highest fall, the 'Garganta do Diabo' (Devil's Throat) reaches 70m (230ft), which is one and a half times the height of Niagara Falls.

Discover different types of rare birds in Foz do Iguassu Bird Park! You are driven to the entrance of the bird park where you meet your guide. Now you have the opportunity to meet Tucans and Aras during a walk through the amazing ambiance of the bird park. Maybe a cute butterfly catches your eye when making your way.

The big adventure begins at the Macuco Safari entrance gates, located at kilometer 25 of the Cataratas Highway inside the Iguassu National Park, with embarkation in open jeep-towed wagons that permit an unobstructed view of the scenery along the trail. During the stretch of three kilometers through the jungle, multi-lingual guides point out examples of the flora and fauna of the Park.

Orchids, palm trees, bromeliads, centenarian trees, as well as wild animals that occasionally cross the trail are pointed out by the guides. The hike - The second stage, a stretch of 600 meters (optional), is a hike on a trail that leads to a waterfall called "Macuco Falls".

The waterfall - perfect for a refreshing dip on days of intense heat - spills down from a height of approximately 20 meters. Access is via a stairway carved into the ancient rock. The last stop is the Macuco Safari docks on the Brazilian side of the Iguassu River. In the water, inflatable bi-motor boats, constructed to withstand the rigors of the excursion, are secure and efficient vessels.

Before embarkation, passengers receive life vests and plastic containers in which to protect photographic and filming equipment. The boat travels upriver passing the canyon facing the rapids at a speed that permits the appreciation of the scenery, but will also give you the adrenaline and fun. Rocks, animals, and a lot of greenery complete the scenery until the base of the Falls is reached, next to the "great horseshoe" known as the "Devil's Throat". Waterfall shower - Rainbows, blue sky, mist, and water in profusion, punctuate the spectacle that has as its high-point the area of the Falls baptized "The Three Musketeers".

There the captain maneuvers the boat to get close enough to provide the passengers with a quick and refreshing shower. Since at the end of the fun everyone normally ends up wet, the passengers more sensitive to cold should not dispense with extra clothes to use after the boat excursion. Another important detail: wear comfortable shoes and clothes

Day 5 – Foz de Iguazu to Campo Grande to Pantanal

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Campo Grande and upon arrival in Campo Grande, you will be transferred to Pantanal.

Pantanal is located in the center of the South American Continent and is a unique global conservation area, located within Brazil. The Amazon may attract more fame and glory, but the Pantanal is a far better place to see wildlife, with the greatest concentration of fauna in the New World. In the Amazon, the animals hide in the dense foliage, but in the Pantanal's open spaces, wildlife is visible to the most casual observer.

The biodiversity of the region is extremely rich. 260 species of fish and 650 species of birds live there. Spectacled Cayman, hyacinth Macaw, Rhea, Giant river otter, Tapir, and Jaguar all call this home. In addition to monkeys, emus, and alligators, many snake species also live there.

Thousands of birds such as Ibises, storks, Jaburus, and spoonbills populate the area, and it is also an important wintering area for millions of migratory birds from North America. The Pantanal is also home to the new world's largest concentration of large animals with a variety comparable to that seen in America.

Day 6 – Pantanal

In the morning after breakfast, we will go across the plains on a horse, and discover the uncultivated land covered with shrubs, ponds, and the Pantanal. During the trip, you can see the animals and birds, which are typical of the area, as well as crocodiles that live in the rivers, nearby the route path. You can even choose to cross a river on horseback with crocodiles and piranhas in it (under the guidance of your guide). There will be lunch on the farm and in the second half of the day, there will be a walking tour through the picturesque open spaces of the Pantanal, where you can take wonderful colorful pictures, see the sunset, and observe many animals.

Day 7 – Pantanal

After breakfast, you will go Piranha fishing in the pond adjacent to the hotel. Standing waist-deep in the water, under the direction of a guide, experience the unique sensation, but you can also catch piranhas from the bank of the river. Optionally, you can bathe in the same river of crocodiles that inhabit it.

A Boat tour is also on the program (depending on the water stand high or low water).

Go through the Pantanal River discover the many animals that inhabit the windlands and come down to the river to drink water. A perfect moment to spot animals in this safari setting.

Lunch and dinner will be served at the hotel and after dinner, in the evening you will go on a jeep night safari, to spot unique night animals, invisible during the day, and maybe even a jaguar.

Day 8 – Pantanal to Bonito

Today we go to the heart of the unspoiled nature but first, in the early morning at 7:00 A.M., we will check out of the hotel to go to the mountain range Serra de Bodoquena. We will go trekking (5.5 km) through the tropical jungle to the twelve waterfalls, the highest waterfall in the south of Mato Grosso-Boca da Onca which is at an altitude of 156 M. There will be several opportunities to swim at the waterfalls and hide between its water wall, discovering the stalactite formations hidden behind.

There will be lunch and after lunch, there is time to rest in hammocks or go swimming in a natural pool of the spring. It is also possible to go down the valley on a rope from the 70 M high platform, under the supervision of a professional instructor; making this experience an adrenaline boost. ( this activity is not included and will be of an additional cost.) Afterward, we will continue toward Bonito.

Day 9 – Bonito

Bonito is one of the most popular destinations in Brazil for eco-tourism and there are only a few places in the world where nature is preserved in such pristine beauty. Bonito is a unique place, where ancient forests coexist with stalactite and stalagmite caves, magnificent waterfalls, and exotic fish in the clear waters of the rivers. In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit the Grotto Blue Lake Cave, producing a lasting impression thanks to its geological structure and water which has a sky-blue color.

This cave has attracted the attention of both tourists and researchers from around the world. In 1992, an expedition of Brazilian paleontologists discovered the fossilized remains of mammals buried at the bottom of the cave - a prehistoric giant sloth and a saber-toothed tiger.

After lunch, we will start our diving trip in the crystal clear water of the river Rio da Prata. We will dive into the water and we will snorkel downstream at a distance of 50 M where there is amazing underwater flora and fauna. The journey begins in the reserve, where our path runs along the Rio da Prata. We visit the source Olho d’Água, where we will begin snorkeling down the river, which originates in the source, and be joined by goldfish, Piraputanga, and Pacush who will entertain us along the way along with the beautiful flora of the underwater world reserve.
