Explore More About Jungles of Brazil:

Brazil offers some of South America's most rewarding and exhilarating wildlife encounters. On this safari, you will immerse yourself in the fauna and flora of the country on a journey into the wildlife heartlands. Spend days exploring the Pantanal - the largest wetland area in the world - in search of jaguars, soak up the sultry city atmosphere of Manaus in the heart of the Amazon, marvel at the pink river dolphins with the option to swim with them, and spend time in the company of the local Tiririca people learning their traditional way of life.

NORTHERN PANTANAL

Spend the morning or afternoon out on the river looking for jaguars and other wildlife. Jaguars are often spotted resting along the banks of the rivers in this area. Other wildlife includes giant otters, capybaras, giant anteaters, howler monkeys, marsh deer, caiman, and much more. The Pantanal is also a birder’s paradise with over 650 different species including jabiru storks, hyacinth macaws, parrots, toucans, and more.

SOUTHERN PANTANAL

The Pantanal is the largest wetland in the world covering an area of about 195,000 square kilometers in three countries. The area is home to hundreds of species of mammals, birds, and reptiles and offers you the best chance of seeing jaguars in the wild. From the lodge, you have various activities on offer which you can choose to do over the two full days you have here. The best time to view the wildlife and birds is during the cooler hours of the mornings and afternoons.
