Half-day tour at the Sugar Loaf and a complete city tour around the main points in Rio!
Starting with the pick up from your hotel by your guide(at the arranged time at 9:00 am), your first stop will be Sugar Loaf, you will get to the top from where you will get one of the best sights of the marvelous city. Sugar Loaf Mountain (Portuguese: Pão de Açúcar) is a peak situated in at the mouth of Guanabara Bay on a peninsula that sticks out into the Atlantic Ocean.
Rising 396 meters (1,299 ft) above the harbor, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined loaf sugar. It is known worldwide for its cableway and panoramic views of the city. It will take you about 2 hours to admire the natural beauty.
After that, you will visit the historical center of the city. You will see the Cathedral and some colonial-style buildings. The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian is dedicated to the patron saint of Rio de Janeiro. Conical in form and with a 96-meter (315 ft) internal diameter — 106 meters of external diameter — and an overall height of 75-meter (246 ft), it has a standing-room capacity of 20,000 people.
At the end of your excursion (1:00 pm) you will be taken back to your hotel.
